The 10C's Model of Identity & Transformational Change

The concept of identity, both on an individual and collective level, has become a prominent focus in the United States and globally. "The 10 C's" presents a new paradigm for understanding identity and transformative growth. The model recognizes that we are not static but dynamic and evolving entities. We continuously adapt and evolve in response to our surroundings, relationships, experiences, and aspirations. 



The 10 C's model comprises ten fundamental components that shape our identity and influence our transformation journey. These components are Color, Culture, Class, Character, Context, Courage, Confidence, Commitment, Conflict, and Community. Each element, individually and collectively, plays a role in helping us define our true selves, determine our aspirations, and chart a path toward their realization. Moreover, the 10 C's model equips us with practical tools and strategies to develop and fortify each component while overcoming challenges and barriers that may arise along the way.
