In 2066, ground wars, cyber wars, financial catastrophes and civil wars continue to rage across the planet. The civilized world calmly takes it all in, a monitor separating them from reality. But the end is coming and it is a message. A message sent to you by someone you know. It will be the last thing you will read while you are alive, and it will be the message you will be sending to everyone you've known long after you're dead. Dr. Jamie Baxter, a corporate campus physician, finds himself on the front lines in the battle against this secret epidemic when it is discovered that he is immune to the message. Drafted from civilian life into an elite military response group, he is forced to do battle with the dead that are all but invisible to the living and to try and find the origins of the message - the virus, the technosis.
