They met in America and married. Then one by one brought our six parents into this new world of hope, opportunity, and freedom. If these grandparents hadn't been brave. If they hadn't been courageous. Where would we be today? Living in poverty -- on farmland that was and still is being ravaged by many wars, oppression, and poverty. How fortunate could we grandchildren be to have enjoyed such a chance to flourish in the land of opportunity -- the United States?
