Talk Story

talk story (v or n) definition: the act of gossip, idle talk with friends, passing the time in remembrance, similar adages: shooting the breeze, sharing war stories. Talk Story, the book and the story, is a multicultural adventure in teaching. One teacher dares with his simple stories to reach the unreachable and teach the unteachable. Everyone has a story to tell, an experience to share, and perhaps an admission of the humanity that links all people into a common set of needs and aspirations. This book could best be described as an autobiographic fiction. It is autobiographical because the majority of events described did occur.
