System - Freiheit - Geschichte

Das Denken des spaten Schelling - zwischen Vollendung und Uberwindung des Deutschen Idealismus - adaquat darzustellen und auszuwerten ist immer noch ein Desiderat der Forschung. Ausgehend von den Grundbegriffen 'System - Freiheit - Geschichte' erschliessen internationale Schelling-Forscher die zentrale Vorlesung 'Einleitung in die Philosophie' aus dem Jahr 1830 (= Schellingiana Band 1) innerhalb des Schelling'schen Denkweges und innerhalb der Philosophie- und Theologiegeschichte insgesamt. Dadurch wird neues Licht auf die Munchener Lehr- und Denkentwicklung des Philosophen geworfen. - Mit Beitragen von A. Denker, H. Zaborowski, S. Loos, R. L. Velkley, J. Kinlaw, M. Drobig, W. E. Ehrhardt und K. Yamaguchi. Providing an adequate description and evaluation of Schellings thinking in his later years, between the completion and the overcoming of German idealism, continues to be a desideratum of research. Based on the basic concepts of system - freedom - history, international researchers on Schelling analyze the key lecture Einleitung in die Philosophie (Introduction to Philosophy) from 1830 (Schellingiana Band 1) within Schellings way of thinking and within the history of philosophy and theology as a whole. This sheds new light on the development of the philosophers teaching and thinking during his time in Munich.
