Beskrivelse

This is NOT a political book. It is an explanation of the original intent of the signers of the 1787 Constitution. During the last hundred years or so the meaning of much of the clauses of the document have been grossly distorted. Some examples are are the Commerce Clause (Article I, Section 8, Clause 3), Amendments I on the establishment of religion, and Amendment X on the the separation of powers between the federal government, the States and the people. Parts I uses the Federalist Papers, the letters and writing of several of the major Founders, and other sources to explain where politicians, judges, and much of the academic communities has ignored the Constitution's great experiment in a Representative Republic. Part II takes to task the unconstitutionality of much of the assumed federal laws in force in this 21st Century.
