Struggles Against Time

Time is pulling a man away from his past as it rushes him inexorably toward the end. Can he make peace with it, can he still find joy in the time that is left? On lockdown during the pandemic, an old man travels back through his memories before they fade away. As a boy growing up in a poor but beautiful Italy during the post war years to his turbulent life in America, will he be able to forge a meaning life? The book depicts the protagonist's struggles with himself and with time, rich with descriptions of works of art, travels and philosophical musings.
