STORYBOOK of DENTAL FAIRY TALES

Theme: This is a fantasy story of how the creation of Dentistry came about in the Realm of Fairy Tales. It tells the story of a King and Queen who had a beautiful daughter. She could have been a princess and had anything she wanted...all she had to do was ask for it. Instead, she wanted to help those who were in search of keeping their teeth healthy. In this fairy tale sweets are everywhere; Sugar and candies are plentiful. The Bakers in this kingdom prided themselves on who could make the sweetest pies and cookies. So rich and delicious were their treats that even the birds devoured the crumbs before they fell to the floor.

Amazingly, most of the inhabitants here retained a modest weight. One reason is because the sweets gave them so much energy...they frolicked and played almost all day long. So, they were in good shape and very energetic. One major problem with this situation is that sweets like to find a home in a happy mouth. So many of the palace personnel and the villagers here had some sort of tooth problems. This included the little animals that also enjoyed the sweet treats. The animals suffered from toothaches and cavities as much as the villagers did. Up until now there was no cure for all these tooth problems... that was until Princess Neelra made up her mind to do something about it. She no longer wanted to just be a princess where everything was done for her. She wanted to do something for her people. And, yes, the little animals too. She made up her mind that she would be a truly fine Dentist in Fantasy's Realm. This is her story on how she fulfilled her dream in the Kingdom of Banyan Land. She became the very first Royal Dentist in its existence.

Up until now it was only home remedies that could give the inhabitants relief from their tooth ailments. Neelra made up her mind that she would find a good and safe way to fix teeth. This way, to see a happy smile would be her goal.
