Stewardship

Spiritual Stewardship: Financial stability continues to be a major issue with most Christians and most churches. The economy may be recovering, but many individual church members and churches have lagged behind the financial renewal. As a result, Christian communities are experiencing financial issues. The primary problem is a total spiritual commitment to stewardship. The third part of the Great Commission, "teaching them to obey everything that I commanded you" (Matthew 28:20c), is essential to the health of the church and imperative to the individual. When we grasp the impact of spiritual growth through ongoing discipleship, we have unlocked the essence of spiritual stewardship. Growing Christians desire to use their time, talent and treasure to further God's work.
