St. Teresa, St. John of the Cross and the Spanish Carmelites

The relationship of St. Teresa of Avila and St. John of the Cross to their brothers and sisters in the Carmelite Order and the impact these two mystics had upon the Order has been largely ignored. This current work, by noted Carmelite historian, Fr. Pablo Maria Garrido, is a significant contribution towards bridging that gap. The book explores the testimony of various members of the Carmelite Order in which both saints began their religious life and under whose obedience they both died.
