St. Madeleine Sophie Barat

During the conflict and violence of the French Revolution, Madeleine Sophie Barat founded the Society of the Sacred Heart, now an international religious institution. Juliet Mousseau, RSCJ, PhD, serves as the vice president for academic affairs and professor of historical theology at the Franciscan School of Theology. Dr. Mousseau's research has focused on medieval Christianity and contemporary theology and experiences of religious life.
