The Sports, Recreation and Art book is in English/Ojibwe/Sign. The Sports, Recreation and Arts book is a part of the Time to Sign Preschool Curriculum with 8 modules. This book contains the following topical areas: fine and performing arts, and sports and recreation. Each Preschool Curriculum book contains stories, songs, games, crafts and playtime activities for use in teaching American Sign Language (ASL) in a fun and educational way. Handouts are also included for all topical areas, enough for every week of the school year, to incorporate sign language into the classroom and enhance the parental involvement. Each sign in the curriculum is on its own 8.5" x 11" page for easy viewing. This book includes communication developmental milestones to aide in the teaching process, as well as outcomes and indicators to incorporate in weekly lesson plans.
