Special Me

Alexander has a mild case of cerebral palsy. He's going to need a leg brace to help his muscles grow strong. His doctor has the most unique bears - they help children with special needs.

I have used a bear to delight children and explain treatment for CP in a language that feels comforting and easy for young children to understand, thoughtfully reflecting the experience from a child's point of view.

The bear talks about special needs in a simple, humorous, and reassuring way, bringing understanding and acceptance as we celebrate the differences in all children.
