Speaking in Tongues of the Woke Left: A Metamodern Deconstruction of the New Faith

Are you Woke? The Right sees being "Woke" as the ULTIMATE EVIL and feels the word deserves to be eradicated from the Earth! The Progressive Left insists "Staying Woke" is an imperative to stave off cultural rot and discrimination. For who doesn't want to "wake up" to injustice and prejudice, right?

How can one single word be viewed with such radically different lenses? Is 'Wokeism' a scourge or a panacea? As is the case with most complex issues, perhaps the truth lies somewhere in the middle? But can middle ground even exist for a topic this divisive?
