Sons of the Soil

Blinded by ambition, and unaware that Prince Jeje has no interest in succeeding his father, his uncle Chief Tirie employs the services of Gawiwy, Doctor Banjo and Gabito who are desperate wannabes to the Sons of the Soil cabal within the Council of Chiefs. They embark on a mission to put the crown on the head of Chief Tirie. Then Chubido surfaces just when Prince is within a striking distance.Two of the three emissaries return to Sumanguru from their unaccomplished mission in Watum repentant, yet deceitful, to Chief Tirie's alternative strategy. This work is about intra-cabal strife, betrayal, altruism, disloyalty, personal rediscovery, compassion, and remorse.
