Something's Broken

Alicia and Julian may come from different places, and neither knows what it means to be loved. Julian was raised in the harshest of environments, a place so brutal it devours the innocence of children until they're gone. Alicia's world is equally cruel: abandoned by her mother, she skips childhood altogether and is forced into adulthood to care for her sick father. When these two people with turbulent lives finally meet, they must deal with the harsh reality of love's most powerful lesson: accepting someone no matter their flaws and discovering to what length they are willing to go to protect that love. Sometimes, love creates terrible things.
