This study of the systems framework of the marine foods industry in India offers an intensive analysis of the marine fishery system in India : Its present status and future potential, its subsystems, resources and technological parameters, and the possible methods for the resolution of conflicts among the diverse interest groups involved. Part One defines the concept of 'system' and the lie fishery system in India, while Part Two contains 18 invited papers by eminent experts and researchers in different fields of the marine fishing industry.
