So Bravely Vegetative

Winner of Prize Americana for Fiction, So Bravely Vegetative is a collection of short stories by Alan Davis. Raised in New Orleans, Davis holds an MA from the University of Louisiana, Lafayette, and a doctorate from the University of Denver. He teaches in the MFA programs at Fairfield University and Minnesota State University, Moorhead, where he is also a Senior Editor at New Rivers Press. His two previous short story collections both won the MVP Competition. He has also won two Fulbrights, the Loft-McKnight Award of Distinction in Creative Prose, and the Minnesota State Arts Board Fellowship.
