Small Scale Industry

Small-Scale Industries play a vital role in the development of a developing economy like India. The promotion of small-scale industries provide an opportunity for the optimum utilization of local resources to serve the local needs. Anantapur district is one of the 14 industrially backward districts of Andhra Pradesh, identified by the Union Government. Monetary concessions and fiscal incentives are available to entrepreneurs who set up industries in the district. Geographically, Anantapur is the largest district of Andhra Pradesh.
