The Nashville newspaper reports the sudden appearance of skull pyramids. City officials scramble to keep a lid on the violence to avoid national scrutiny. Community forums designed to quell citizen unrest produce chaos. Suddenly, the small skull pyramids appear in Atlanta. National media descend on the city as riotous demonstrators' voice their conflicting paranoia. Authorities fear the killer may take his particular set of skills nationwide. The city is put under overnight lockdown. Charlie is abducted and interrogated.
