Questionnaire was a progressive rock band from the Sudbury area of Suffolk in the 1970s, with a couple of hits. Over forty years later, they are all around retirement age yet are still touring. When their flamboyant frontman dies after a concert in Sudbury, it is thought to be an illness until murder is later suspected. DCI Ron Webb and his team have to sort out a case as complex and twisted as the music the band played, and don't get to start until a week after the death. The band have a lot of history, but they also have some secrets from each other, despite their time together.
