Magical disruptions have skewed reality and our city is overheating, along with the population. As a sentient jungle swamps us, and the weather goes haywire, sexual tension soon turns to violence as uncontrollable urges are amped up by wayward magic.

Tired beyond belief, wanting nothing more than my bed and some time to deal with the aftereffects of the Rift, I'm thrown headfirst into the chase as I hunt down a homicidal witch-Bluetz Skala. Gangster, murderer, and total hottie.

The city turns feral as I try to cope with humidity that's through the roof, a carnivorous rainforest, perverted soldiers, and my feelings for a man I've just met but who may be the answer to my aching loneliness.

To make matters worse, I've still got a demon tagging along who thinks quoting Friends is cool, and I can't even smoke a cigar because it's too damn soggy.
