Beskrivelse
The troubling and bizarre life of Sheila Carfenders, a 22-year-old mental patient abducted by her abusive San Francisco psychiatrist. Doctor Mask takes Sheila to an impoverished Asian country decaying from a violent insurgency, where he hopes to build an experimental psychiatric clinic after making deals with the corrupt regime and its delirious leader President Akimbo. Sheila's fate? Unexpected amid a coup. Richard S. Ehrlich is a foreign correspondent from San Francisco, California, reporting from Asia since 1978 based in Hong Kong, New Delhi and currently Bangkok. Many of the characters in Sheila Carfenders, Doctor Mask & President Akimbo -- including their conversations -- are derived from his interviews, reporting of events, documents, experiences and real individuals. Richard S. Ehrlich is a co-author of three non-fiction books, including "Hello My Big Big Honey " Love Letters to Bangkok Bar Girls and Their Revealing Interviews.
