As they rested, rumours of Shiro Amakusa Tokisada, a devious young leader under the Jesuits influence spread fear among the people. Lord Kusunoki of Kyoto called upon the seven Oborozuki ryu bugeisha to eradicate the deceitful Jesuits, foreign interlopers spreading their corrupt new religion throughout Japan. In a clandestine meeting within the teahouse, Lord Kusunoki outlined their mission. . .
