Severed

We don't appreciate what we have until it's gone. When Lane discovered she was magically bound to Alec, all she'd wanted was to break whatever it was that tied them together. Now that it's broken, all she wants is to get it back. 

Lane and Alec have spent their entire lives feeling each other's pains and pleasures through a mysterious and magical bond until an unexpected journey brought them to the witch that bound them. 

Now that their bond has been severed and the world around them begins to darken, Lane and Alec find themselves on another mission. 

They must find answers for how they were bound, and why their bond is now broken. They must figure out if the feelings they had for one another were real and still exist, or if they were just another product of their lifelong bond. 

In their travels, their knowledge of the world and their personal beliefs are challenged like never before. 

The time of the Fates will come to an end.

When the Fates intervene and declare their intentions for Lane and Alec's relationship, they face the ultimate decision.
