Ty Brock was a rising star in the Chicago Cubs minor leagues. He was handsome, charismatic and a dominate pitcher with the world as his oyster. That would change one Saturday afternoon in the middle of the backdrop of his entire world-the baseball diamond. Coming to find his long time girlfriend had cheated on him with a member of the opposing team, Ty sought revenge without wasting a breath. Kirby Lynn Kendall, who was two years from a Doctorate in Psychology, took a job as a therapist at Carnation Mental Health Facility in Downers Grove, Illinois. She had sent school to the sidelines until her home life dictated she return. As she walked through the doors her first day, Kirby had no clue her life was about to change forever when she was handed a printout of her caseload.
