Selected papers from the 11th Toulon-Verona International Quality Conference

This e-book contains papers from the 11th Toulon-Verona International Quality Conference. During the first QMOD Conference organized by Professor Jens J. Dahlgaard in Zhenzhou, China, in 1997, Professor Claudio Baccarani of the University of Verona, Italy, and Professor Michel Weill of the University of Toulon, France, launched the idea of organizing a conference sponsored by their two universities on the theme of quality in higher education institutions. Over the last ten years, the Toulon-Verona Conference has expanded its scope to cover health care, local government, tourism, leisure and cultural activities. Hosted by partner universities in a different European country each year, the Toulon-Verona Conference has welcomed hundreds of delegates and published more than a thousand research papers. In 2008, it was decided to organize the QMOD Conference and the TVC jointly under the name of International Conference on Quality and Social Sciences (ICQSS) and make it the biggest European event in their field.
