Second Chances

Katie Brickman lost the love of her life, Claire Rosen, twenty years earlier because of her own inner homophobia and a secret that she never revealed to anyone. Katie's lack of success in her love life has created a vacuum, while her career has been fruitful as a writer and a college professor. As fate would have it, Steve Krantz enrolls in Katie's creative writing class where she encourages all of her students to participate in the college's annual poetry contest. He wins first prize and Katie takes him out for dinner along with a guest. Immediately, Katie is attracted to this stunning, middle aged woman, who happens to be Steve's mother. Claire Rosen, the very same Claire Rosen who Katie fell in love with twenty years earlier.
