Caroline survived, or did she?On an icy evening, Caroline, her husband, step-son, and daughter are on their way home when a tragic accident occurs. She was the only survivor.Unexpectedly, she picks up and moves to Alabama. Alone in a close-knit small town, she stuggles to make a fresh start but night terrors and panic attacks hinder her ability to move on. Trick, a confirmed bachelor, owns local Alabama bar, The Trick. When he tries to learn more about Caroline, his new waitress, she puts up a mighty fight. Deciding to take it slow and be a friend to her, Trick slowly works to break her walls down brick by brick.
