Save scumming. Ever since the first save systems were devised for video games, mankind has abused them. Don't like the outcome in your game? Reload and try again. Bad luck with loot? Reload and try again. Elitists would claim this is scummy behavior. To purists, it's cheating the system. Even worse, it's using the much-maligned "easy mode" - the death knell to a gamer's cred. And yet, even the most hardcore among elites would jump at the chance if offered the power to save and reload reality. Such was the power Chase Redd found himself with one day.
