"When you live life on the run it's hard to just live." Layla Thensen just wants to know what really happened on the worst night of her life - the night her husband died and the police blamed her. A lucky escape gave her time to get out of the country so she could investigate the murder herself. In the process, she finds two groups of men. One group survives a gun fight and claims to be the only men who can protect her. The other group is a bit too animal to be real and claim the same thing - only they can protect her.
