The natural habitat of turtles is on the ground or in the water. A turtle on a fence post elicits a question, 'How did it get there?' The story goes that a famous author once said, 'Anytime you see a turtle on top of a fence post, you know he had some help.' Our personal story would be incomplete without the stories of others we have met at the many intersections of life who have impacted and influenced us. Running with Turtles details the stories of many biblical characters who were placed on a fence post and demonstrated that they belonged there - above the other turtles that walked below. Their prominence was made possible by their commitment to a higher purpose that was motivated by a higher law - the law of love.
