The book examines Kenya's stride towards building a more just and peaceful nation. It critically analyses the capitalist development path, the country tends to follow; it also discusses the socialist alternatives previously proposed. The book poses the critical question on how Kenya moves towards building the nation in the next half a century and beyond.the country is still on the run for developing an ever growing population, amidst challenges of corruption, politically instigated conflicts and possible environmental disasters.Suggestions for a more just and peaceful and democratic development are proposed.
