Orphaned at a young age, taken in by a family of bears, Roxy was accepted as one of them. Though she wasn't. She was a raccoon.

He had watched her grow up. His Bear recognized her as his mate. But she was too young. He needed to separate himself from her, so Trey did the honorable thing. He left.

Trey waited until the time was right to return to claim his mate, but Roxy was gone.

What neither of them expected was her to be caught by a scientist with conflicting agendas.
