Beskrivelse
Reversal of Fortune presents a collection of Pablo's poetry that describes history as it unfolded within Rancho San Jose, part the San Gabriel and Pomona Valleys that California Governor Juan Alvarado granted to Ygnacio Palomares and Ricardo Vejar in 1837. The rancho boundaries include today's communities of Azusa, Claremont, Covina, Glendora, La Verne, Pomona, San Dimas, and Walnut. Poetry assembled here first appeared in Folk History of the San Gabriel and Inland Valleys; Folk History, The Citrus Years in San Dimas, California; and Folk History, San Dimas in 2015. This is the complete collection. San Dimas, the Crown of the Citrus Belt, was blessed with a convergence of topography, resources, weather, transportation, technology, and ground-breaking pioneers. Pablo loves the Pomona Valley and describes its history with poetry.
