Result of Some Researches Among the British Archives for Information Relative to the Founders of New England

This volume was originally compiled between 1859 and 1860 from information housed at the British Archives, and contains numerous lists and ship entries of the names of individual ship passengers, who were some of America's earliest emigrants. The method and content of documentation varies among the numerous vessels undertaking the voyages, but often includes the names of family members, the occupation of the passenger, age, and the reason for the voyage. In most every entry, the date, the port of embarkation, and the port of debarkation is included. Most of the lists and documents contained in this work are dated in the early 17th Century.
