The great advantage of immortality is time and perspective. Patterns can be studied, mortal beliefs analysed and a fresh perspective can challenge even the most veteran of scholars. Because of this, Count Dracula is sending a team to China in pursuit of the legend of the jiangshi. Are the stories just myth or is there some foundation in fact? Conclave of Vampires concludes with a fantastic sweep into new legends and new ground, combining the classic Gothic horror of Dracula with Chinese folklore and modern vampiric fantasy. And, as the story is resolved, House Pan takes its biggest step.
