Research Methods in the Social Sciences / Metode de cercetare în ¿tiin¿ele sociale

This handbook contains one of the six core modules of the European Master Programme «European Perspectives on Social Inclusion» for a degree of «European Master of Development Studies in Social and Educational Sciences». The module «Research Methods» focuses on the research issues in the field of social sciences and the development by students of the capability to plan and design research studies in this field. The main goals of this course are:

- description, understanding and correct evaluation of qualitative and quantitative methods used in the field of social sciences;

- critical analysis of research studies using different approaches.

Acest manual contine unul din cele sase module de baza ale programului european de studii master «European Perspectives on Social Inclusion» pentru obtinerea diplomei de «European Master of Development Studies in Social and Educational Sciences». Modulul «Metode de cercetare» se focalizeaza asupra problemelor cercetarii in domeniul stiintelor sociale si dezvoltarii de catre studenti a capacitatii de a planifica si schita studii în acest domeniu. Obiectivele principale ale cursului sunt:

- descrierea întelegerea si evaluarea corecta a metodelor calitative si cantitative utilizate în domeniul stiintelor sociale

- analiza critica a studiilor care utilizeaza diverse abordari.
