Reflections

The Short Story is a place where an idea can get bones. Where a concept could either die a quiet death or possibly become a storyline. Where a hidden novel could come out of hiding. Where a hundred possibilities can achieve completion in the same time a novel is tediously developed. It's a place where campfire folklore and things that go bump in the night can become alive. In short they are fun to write and can sometimes lead an author down an unexpected path "Reflections" contains nineteen stories that describe the near death of a child, the adolescent struggle to grow up, the mind of a mass murderer, what would happen if the greatest athlete of all gave his money to the poor, and when squirrels take over the woods.
