Redshift

Redshift is a boat. The name tells us that the universe is expanding. But this story is not about the boat, but about the people who are on it and whose lives are changing as they strike out on their journey. They, like the boat's name, are also expanding outward to something new. They set out into the Pacific without a plan, nor any idea when or if they will return. One of them seeks to put a tragedy behind, another to get out from under a career that has become too demanding, another because a marriage has failed, and a fourth to escape the confusion and complications of a troubling inheritance left by a husband whose secret life was likely involved in crime. It is both a mystery and a drama. A mystery involving the secret life of the deceased husband, and a drama involving the lives of these four people and how they each find love and happiness in such unexpected ways.
