REDISCOVERING IRENE: A Celtic Adventure

Sports loving real estate secretary Irene Harley's life is shattered when she discovers that her partner Gary Russell is involved in shady financial dealings. Gary's ex-partner is Julia, and he has a daughter Rosie. He is involved in a scheme with Irene's boss Suzanne Barron related to mortgages and cryptocurrency. Devastated, Irene meets police constable Rodney Mooney during Gary's arrest, who later falls for Irene. Following a family crisis, Irene's mother reminds Irene that she was adopted at birth and her birth mum Ciara lives in Ireland. When Julia threatens to take Rosie with her to Spain, Irene is unable to convince her to stay. Irene decides to go and meet her birth family in Ireland and settles into a new life following a period of self-discovery. She forms a firm bond with Rodney and by the end of the novel the future looks a lot less grim for Irene. REDISCOVERING IRENE - a Celtic Adventure is at its heart, a novel about self-discovery, a young woman finding her way in the world and forging a new path, and recovery from some of her demons that had haunted her for many of her young years.
