Racing Darkness

Murder. Terror. Intrigue. Mystery. After a contentious Homecoming Week charged with accusations of racism, South Central College now has a new, deadlier problem to deal with - a unknown shooter with sights on minority students. College leadership is bristling over outside investigators from Atlanta and beyond combing the campus to find the killer. Students on campus live in fear for their lives while racial tensions threaten to boil over. Most student newspapers never cover stories like this but, for the team of The Scope, it's now just another day at the office. While the team digs in to find the stories behind the headlines, they find themselves walking into a story of darkness, and pushing themselves further and harder than they ever thought possible. One question remains - can they get to the truth and tell the story before the team falls apart?
