Pushing Up Orchids

A deathly chill goes through a hothouse full of orchids when a world famous grower is found dead, his precious plants clutched in his hands.

When beloved orchid grower Mr. Arakawa is found dead in his greenhouse, the police focus their investigation on Maile Spencer, who just happens to be the last one to see him alive. Suspicions turn to accusations by the people she trusts the most, and it isn't long before she's in a jail cell making new friends. It's also the same week as when a major international orchid and garden show hits town, and when one of the exhibitors is found dead, more suspicions are cast in Maile's direction.

Join Maile and her sidekick for the week, 10-year-old Nancy, as they follow clues from one end of Honolulu to the other, always trying to stay one step ahead of trouble.
