Purposeful Co-Teaching

Today's teachers have a mandate to ensure success for each individual student and co-teaching is quickly becoming the best way to meet the challenge. Purposeful Co-Teaching helps primary through secondary school teachers experience the rewards of co-teaching through practical, research-based, and field-tested strategies that provide instructional support for all students in inclusive classrooms. The authors' model identifies the stages of co-teaching and emphasizes the components of interpersonal skills, content knowledge, instructional design, and teaching philosophy.
