Conor moves to Singapore and starts a business escorting cargo ships through the pirate-infested Malacca Strait. Fate brings a rich Filipina girl into his life who lost her papa and best friend when they were killed by pirates. Conor trys to help her get revenge. Their hunt is delayed, however, when he is hired by the U.S. Navy for a temporary mission to capture a machine invented by two outcast Russian scientists. Along with the U.S. and Russian navies, desperate to capture the invention are the Russian mafia and al-Qaeda. The surprising outcome is heart-wrenching.
