I followed my heart from San Diego, California to Cedar Falls, West Virginia.

Too bad the woman I followed wasn't worth the trip.

Thankfully, I had my job, new friends - which consisted of an entire motorcycle club I'd fallen into - and my newfound responsibility for a family that was torn apart by needless tragedy.

I might not have followed the right woman to Cedar Falls, but it led me to a single mother and her son, both of whom managed to capture my heart.

Between her ex and mine, we had a lot of baggage to wade through. That extra weight around our necks almost cost us each other and something far more important - her son.
