This book facilitates the learner's appreciation and delectation of literary genre and adequately prepares candidates for the Cameroon General Certificate of Education (CGCE) Examination in both the essays and Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) and also sharpens the skills of anyone interested in literary analysis. In the first part, CHI CHE has advanced a wealth and warehouse of literary terms, literary theory and background, and literary analysis techniques that will enable just anyone to be able to appreciate any genre of Literature in English. The second part of the book is focused on an in-depth critical literary analysis of sampled prose works such as The Old Man and the Sea by Ernest Hemingway, A Question of Power by Bessie Head and No Way to Die by Linus Asong. Such analyses are followed by Advanced level (AL) examination-type study questions.
