Beskrivelse

In May 1941, Mei Yiqi, chairman of the Standing Committee of the Southwest Associated University, Zheng Tianting, general secretary, and Luo Changpei, director of the Chinese Department and the Chinese Language Department of the Teachers'' College, flew from Kunming to Chongqing for a three-month academic and cultural investigation. 'During the difficult journey of more than three months, I had a long and difficult journey. I had to walk through the mountains and build a bridge by crossing the water. I also ran away from several alarms in a hurry and experienced the hardships of travel during the Anti Japanese war.' on the way, 'I studied the academic studies, enjoyed the scenery, interviewed the folk customs, and expressed sympathy to my friends.' Luo Changpei wrote his journey as a diary travel note, which is a true record of the journey, academic situation and character dynamics of a certain place on The Difficult Road of Sichuan in the middle of the Anti-Japanese war. Mei Yiqi, Zheng Tianting and Luo Changpei all had diaries during their trip, but now only Mei Yiqi''s diary has been preserved. Zheng Tianting, as the chief financial officer of this trip, also left a list of accounts, recording in detail the prices of transportation, accommodation, catering and listening to the theatre of that era. This part of Mei Yiqi''s diary and Zheng Tianting''s bill are attached to the relevant chapters of The Difficult Road of Sichuan. After reading the materials of the three people, a vivid picture is displayed, which makes people immersive at the scene.
