Preacher Boy

Jeff Smith is twenty years old and looking for purpose in life. Seeking the will of God, he decides to become a preacher and moves to the center of independent Baptist fundamentalism - Texas. His journey takes him to the Baptist Bible Tabernacle where he meets his spiritual mentors Brother Howie and Brother Cory. Brother Jeff soon joins the ranks of the "preacher boys" and learns what it takes to succeed in their world. He finds himself in a struggle to maintain his identity, while trying to please his leaders. Does Jeff have what it takes to be a real Texas fundamentalist? Can he reconcile the harsh nature of his pastor and Brother Cory with God's plan?
