Pre-Pilot

It is fortunate for many people to have a dream to pursue their life meanings in the sky and it is hard progress for most people who could really make the decision prior to visiting a flight school. However, not all potential students are from an aviation family, too many people make the decision to go to a school which does not really offer qualified flight training, which does not care about students when they meet problems, which does not pay enough attention to safety. By the time you figure out you are at a wrong school, it is already too late because you've already wasted too much unnecessary money and, most importantly, what you learnt could be unsafe, not all schools train students for their lives. Correcting the procedures is also a difficult thing because pilots learn by both mental and muscle memories, once they have been practicing with the wrong procedures of manoeuvring, it could be extremely difficult for them to divert to the correct ways.A great majority of people had unrealistic, fancy illusions towards pilot careers prior to jumping into the flight training or after some time they started flight training. This leads to people making rushy decisions and irrational judgements on choosing a flight school to start with. Too often people see the planes and talk to the recruiters or Chief Flight Instructors and then they say: "This is the school for me " Remember the management or student service specialist or Chief Flight Instructors, you name it, are trained people who know how to present their schools in 100% positive ways so that they could be recognized by the owners or be paid with a promotional bonus per student. Therefore, the information they are telling you is usually incomplete. This is unfair because students would not know how to gather comprehensive information and compare, and then conclude a best school based on their own specific conditions and needs.Being a young and growing career in human history, pilot career has been portrayed as an incredibly nice, noble, well-paid, pleasant, comfortable, handsome, beautiful and Hakuna Matata (means no worries) job by many films, books and other types of public entertainment. This trend has become better in the 21st century, when the information-explosion era has arrived and aviation lovers or pilots-to-be are provided with the methods, specifically internet, to gather the information they need in terms of the career and training side. Even so, according to experiences, the future pilots still tend to fix on the greater sides of the future career instead of concentrating more on the current stages to know more comprehensively about the training they are going to receive. This causes our pilots-to-be to choose, in most of the cases, the wrong school.The road to becoming a pilot is not an easy one. In terms of financial side, all the aviation educational products, like flight computers, flight bags or headsets are more expensive than the other general subjects of the education, tuitions and fees are expensive since there are so few of the professional people involved in the flight training industry compared to other training industries, and the maintenance for student pilots' classroom: aircraft, are expensive. Obtaining the required licenses and ratings are time consuming and energy consuming, students need to read a lot and practice alot, which means they need to sacrifice more both mentally and physically to achieve their With simple words and expressions, this book tells you knowledge and things to consider before choosing a good flight school for yourself in Canada.
